For our Global Compliance and Data Privacy Team, situated at the company headquarters in Cham, near Zurich, Switzerland, we are looking for a highly motivated Compliance & Data Privacy Paralegal (100%).



In this challenging and rewarding position you will report directly to the Global Data Protection & Deputy Chief Compliance Officer, and support the preparation, implementation and management of internal processes and policies, and external legal requirements related to different legal projects.


Your main responsibilities will among others include:

  • Supporting the Global Data Protection and Deputy Chief Compliance Officer with the legal review (Privacy Impact Assessments) of information technology assets (internal systems and processes), and of operational technology systems (product portfolio), including migration of the same to the Google Cloud
  • Review and update policies, standards, procedures, and communication materials
  • Review, update, or develop training materials for compliance and data protection topics
  • Coordinate and manage projects related to compliance and data protection
  • Support with business inquiries about internally used tools
  • Support the Global Data Protection and Deputy Chief Compliance Officer in providing pro-active, hands-on data protection and compliance advice to the L+G Group, and in the execution of the Legal & Compliance Strategy

This position requires the following skills & experience:

  • Law degree or legal training
  • 1-3 years of experience in working I the field of compliance and / or data privacy in a legal department or law firm or equivalent
  • Familiarity with data privacy regulations, anti-corruption and anti-competition principles
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills in English
  • CIPP/E or CIPM certification an asset
