To strengthen our Sales Switzerland team at our headquarters in Cham, near Zurich, we are looking for new team members as Key Account Manager - Energy Management. This position calls for a professional who combines an excellent understanding of technical products with a genuine flair for selling.



A Key Account Manager acts as sales representative for the entrusted business line. This is a B2B customer facing function with daily liaison with our customer, and management as well as technical specialists dealing with solutions in the field of energy metering, measurement, and automation. Specifically, we are looking for a new team member to manage our heat business on a regional level understanding the principles of heating networks, heat stations as well as cooling / heating installations.


Your main responsibilities will among others include:

  • Development and implementation of sales strategy
  • Customer/partner relationship management and customer negotiations
  • Business development, market & price analysis, and bid/project coordination
  • Budget, monthly planning for key accounts and CRM
  • Prepare sales offer related to new product, service software or project
  • Competitor and market analysis and identification of future customer requirements
  • Identify the target segments, future products, systems, or service for business development activities in line with group strategy
  • Prepare the business plan including initial go to market strategy for own territory and customers
  • Participate in defining marketing plans, execution of product launches
  • Identify potential partners and engage with selected partner

This position requires the following skills & experience:

  • Business and/or Engineering degree or equivalent professional experience and education in sales
  • Several years’ experience in the B2B direct sales in energy and utilities market
  • Experience in market development, bid management process and with CRM tools
  • Ability to understand and market complex product portfolio (energy metering solutions, HW, devices, software solutions etc.)
  • A natural gift in building and develop business relationships (customer intimacy)
  • High professionalism and credibility and problem-solving skills
  • Fluent communication and presentation skills in German and English
  • Willingness to travel on business on a regular basis
