As part of the Content & Digital Team, the Content team plays a central role in amplifying Holcim`s most essential topics in close collaboration with colleagues from the broader communications team, markets, and functions, such as Sustainability, Innovation, Marketing, Investor Relations, and Digital. The team is proactive and stays on top of internal and external developments to support Holcim`s positioning according to its strategy, vision, and purpose at every opportunity.
  • As a Content Creator, you can take your career to the next level by:
  • Identifying topics of interest for key audiences in the areas of relevance for Holcim
  • Producing content: web articles, interviews, podcasts, photos, videos, infographics, social media posts, and more for various global channels (media, digital, events, reports, etc.)
  • Providing input and recommendations regarding how and where Holcim should weigh in on current issues and emerging topics, especially in the field of business growth, climate, and sustainability
  • Pitching thought leadership pieces to third party media in collaboration with the Media team
  • Tracking and benchmarking the external landscape: competitors, media, forums, and influencers to identify and pitch the best stories
  • Collaborating with colleagues from markets, corporate functions, and the broader communications teams, as well as with external partners for content creation
  • Pushing integrated and omnichannel activation of critical content and related assets
  • Working alongside Holcim`s campaign, corporate reporting, digital, planning & intelligence, media, internal, events and branding team
  • Managing agencies
  • Measuring relevant key performance indicators for content, assets, and related campaign material in partnership with the planning & intelligence team
  • Be an advisor to the Group HSE and support functions by building and fostering a deep understanding of the operational hazards & risks in line with PSM concepts, industry standards and best practices focused on PSM
  • Monitor and audit PSM and related processes and activities to ensure strict governance, the effectiveness of the program and implementation, and provide a regular update to the Group HSE leadership team
  • Roll out tools, training and simplify risk management process to ensure that all workers understand the hazards associated with their task and workplace and can effectively utilize PSM Controls to reduce the risk at their tasks/workplace
Skills
  • Content production and copywriting
  • Sourcing and writing articles, talking points, copy for digital channels, and press releases
  • Creating assets such as presentations, videos, photography, infographics, podcasts, adverts, social media posts, and more
  • Synthesizing topics in the relevant areas to develop highly effective and impactful new content together with markets, functions, and the broader communications team
  • Understanding key audiences needs, the issues shaping today’s global agenda, and connecting them to Holcim’s business priorities -- including applying examples/data/analytics to prove the case
  • Growing and nurturing a network of strong relationships
  • Working with and presenting to senior leaders
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Working collaboratively with multiple culturally diverse teams
  • Self-motivated with strong initiative, creative and problem-solving skills
  • Performing successfully in a fast-paced, intellectually intense environment
Experience & Qualifications
  • 4+ years of experience preferred in prominent corporate brands or media group
  • Professional experience in building, climate, sustainability, innovation, and other related fields is a plus
  • Degree in journalism, PR, communications or related fields
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken)
  • A driven, passionate individual with experience in building solid networks
  • Deep interest/knowledge in building, business, climate, sustainability, and innovation topics
  • A proven experience in creating content
  • A proven track record in writing articles, talking points, and press releases and in developing presentations, videos, infographics, and other formats
  • Experience managing end-to-end content development, deployment, and measurement
  • You thrive in a dynamic, entrepreneurial and flexible environment
  • You enjoy challenges, you’re hard working and learn fast
