Corporate Finance & Investment Analyst


We are searching for an experienced Corporate Finance & Investment Analyst at our MSC Geneva - Geneva facility.

YOUR IMPACT

Under the responsibility of Corporate Finance & Investment Managers, the Analyst will :

  • Support and Oversee the business units and companies within the perimeter of the Group (MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company and subsidiaries);
  • Under the supervision of the senior team members, be involved in Financial Planning & Analysis, Business Planning, Management Reporting and overall coordination between several business units/companies;
  • Improve performance of BU’s by granting better visibility and collaborate with other parts of the Group;
  • Support on a need basis on M&A activities.

Required Qualifications:

YOUR BACKGROUND

  • Education in Finance or Management, Master degree;
  • At least 2 years’ experience in a rigorous financial or management consulting analyst role;
  • Strong financial analysis expertise with 2-3 years’ experience in a demanding environment (e.g. management consulting, investment bank/ M&A, transaction services, Big 4 valuation or modelling teams).
  • Expert in Excel modelling; ability to develop and run financial models.
  • Good understanding of accounting principles.
  • Knowledge in company valuation techniques.
  • Has gained exposure to international transactions, environment, and culture.
  • Effective written and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work across a large organization.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work logically, consistently, and accurately.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to handle several projects in parallel.
  • Team spirit.
  • Strong business ethics.
  • Perfect command of both written and spoken English, a second language is a plus.
