This position is located at our corporate office in Baar, Switzerland.
Overview:
As a Data Administrator, you will also be responsible for maintaining the Power BI connection to the Snowflake entity layer. You will build new datasets in Power BI and diligently monitor data accuracy, promptly flagging any discrepancies or anomalies that may arise.
Responsibilities:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Data Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our Snowflake data warehouse architecture, ensuring the security and user access rights, and maintaining the entity layer of data. You will also be involved in managing existing data pipelines and developing new data ingestion processes into Snowflake. Additionally, you will work closely with vendors to establish and maintain connections with our Customer Data Platform (CDP).
Qualifications:

Aman Snowflake

  • Manage the warehouse architecture in Snowflake, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
  • Oversee the security and user access rights within Snowflake, implementing necessary controls and permissions.
  • Maintain the entity layer of data within Snowflake, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
  • Monitor and maintain the existing data pipelines, identifying and addressing any issues or bottlenecks.
  • Develop new data ingestion processes into Snowflake, streamlining data acquisition and integration.
  • Manage Snowflake credit usage, track consumption, and identify the need for additional credits as necessary.
  • Collaborate with vendors to establish and maintain connections with the Customer Data Platform (CDP).


Aman Power BI

  • Maintain the Power BI connection to the Snowflake entity layer, ensuring a seamless flow of data.
  • Build new datasets in Power BI to support business reporting and analysis needs.
  • Continuously monitor data accuracy within Power BI, promptly flagging and investigating any discrepancies.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand their data needs.

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Information Systems, or Statistics.
  • Proven experience managing and maintaining a data warehouse architecture, preferably Snowflake.
  • Strong understanding of data security principles and experience managing user access rights.
  • Proficiency in SQL or other equivalent coding language.
  • Experience with data visualization tools, preferably Power BI.
  • Familiarity with data pipelines, ETL processes, and data integration techniques.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and vendors.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
