Duration: 6 months

Location: St-Prex, Switzerland
Ferring+You
This internship takes place in the Global Operational Excellence team (Global OpEx). This team is part of the Global Manufacturing Network and directly works with the local OpEx teams from 15 manufacturing sites across the world and leads cross-functional projects mainly aimed at fostering the lean culture in the organization and improve the overall performance of the network.
This is a great opportunity to work in an international and stimulating environment. You will be able to work on topics covering a broad part of the operational activities including: strategy, supply chain, production, quality.
Your day at Ferring
Over the past 3 years Ferring has been implementing an operating system to drive the application of Operational Excellence in the organization.
As part of the Global OpEx team your missions will be:
  • Best Practises: Collect then Share the highest standards to upgrade the sites level maturity
  • Overall Equipment Effectiveness: Define and Confirm governance process to support key equipment’s performance increase
  • Digitalization: Draft and Develop applications using Power Apps to embed Continuous Improvement
To carry-out these tasks you will be expected to adapt to the Ferring organization. You will most importantly need to demonstrate proactivity and autonomy as in getting in touch with stakeholder and customer for the different tools and systems.

  • You are currently in engineering/ relevant master’s degree
  • You have great interpersonal skills and you are generally good with communication
  • You speak English fluently (at least C1 level), speaking French or German is a plus
  • You have a strong interest in performance management and productivity project
  • You are a fast learner, willing to learn new tools and ways of working
  • You are proactive and willing to drive improvement and change in an organization
  • You are result oriented and demonstrate a “can do” attitude
