For our global headquarters in Schaffhausen, Switzerland, we are looking for aDEPARTMENT MANAGER RETAIL ARCHITECTURE – 12 MONTHS(M/F/X – 100%)The Department Manager Architecture is leading the department of Brand Architecture with a team of 7 architects, responsible for the global project management and implementation of IWC’s global retail network-rollout with flagships, boutiques and shop-in-shops worldwide. Depending on the rollout-speed the team can potentially further grow. The position reports into the Associate Director Brand Experience and works closely with the Head of Architectural Concepts & Store Planning who is charge of creating and developing all 3D-Architecture and Exhibition-concepts within IWC.Duration: 12 monthsStart: 01.02.2023KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Lead and organization of a team of 7 architects
  • Ensuring on time and on budget construction within the frame of the ambitious network expansion
  • Project-lead of own complex projects in planning and implementation of IWC’s global flagships, boutiques and Shop-in-Shops following corporate guidelines and standards
  • Architectural input on network expansion plans
  • Representation of the architecture department within the organization and towards Richemont Group
YOUR PROFILE:
  • Master’s degree in Architecture or equivalent education in project management with professional experience in store development
  • Minimum five years of experience in architecture, store development or interior design (planning and implementation of architectural projects as well as negotiation and buying of architectural services)
  • Excellent architectural project management capabilities and the ability to work under pressure
  • Experience in planning and implementation of luxury retail boutiques
  • Full business proficiency in English
  • Hands-on personality that easily communicates in an international environment
  • Minimum 2 years of leadership experience
