I am currently looking for a "DevOps Engineer" on behalf of Hays for our well-known customer in the field of industrial process engineering.

Location: Reinach (Basel-Land)

Project start: ASAP

Remote: 25%

Project duration: 12 MM temporarily and then takeover is planned

Your Tasks:

Creation and provision of innovative digital solutions based on industrial IOT technologies to enable our customers to monitor and optimize their processes more efficiently
Participation in a team responsible for the provision, operation and continuous development and automation of our cloud platform, always with a focus on performance, costs and reliability
Close cooperation with data science specialists and supervision of the basics for applications in the field of machine learning and data-driven solutions
As part of a development team responsible for the further development of cloud infrastructure services
Close and interdisciplinary cooperation with various technology departments and product management in an agile environment

Your Qualifications:

You have a degree in computer science or have a comparable education
You have experience in handling Kubernetes in a cloud native environment, virtual networks, container technologies and have already worked with the tools Azure, Kafka, Prometheus
Experience with the creation and automation of CI/CD pipelines with tools such as GitLab, ArgoCD and HELM is essential
Knowledge of scripting and programming languages such as Bash and Python are beneficial
