DIGITAL CONTENT MANAGER

As Digital and Content manager, you will manage and coordinate the digital platforms related to Artisan Engagement and actively assist the Head of Artisan Engagement in the creative definition of the different projects in collaboration with the different resources involved on a project by project basis.


HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?

On the Digital aspect, you will be responsible for, but no limited to:

  • Managing and ensuring the proper functioning of the digital platform systems related to Artisan Engagement: Homo Faber Guide, Evaluation Tool, Database, Accreditation System (new), Workflow (new), Community (new)
  • Actively participating in the creation/redesign of the platforms in collaboration with the Head of Artisan Engagement and the digital agencies selected for the different projects.
  • Preparing mission reports and briefs for digital agencies and following the different steps of implementation of the different projects
  • Ensuring the cohesion of the overall digital system in collaboration with the internal team
  • Managing the following resources: Accreditation Coordinator, Database and Sustainable Coordinator, Web Content Integrator

On the Content aspect, you will be responsible for, but no limited to:


  • Actively participating with the Head of Artisan Engagement in the creation and implementation of new projects and the maintenance/redesign of existing projects. In particular:
    • Homo Faber Guide: Definition of new sections (itineraries, hospitality, etc.), new categorization of artisans according to the new Accreditation System, more editorial approach to the platform, possible monetization of the Guide (banner advertising, booking experiences, users membership, etc.).
    • Accreditation System: participation in the working team called upon to define the new accreditation criteria.
    • Community: participation in the working team called upon to study, create and feed the community of MFO craftsmen.
    • Sustainability: participation in the working team called upon to refine and launch the Green List and other projects connected with the topic.
    • New Countries and New Crafts: participation in the working team called upon to study and define new Countries and new crafts.
    • Homo Faber Event: Assisting the Head of Engagement in the selection of artisans to be involved in the event and supporting the organization of their presence in Venice.
  • Interacting with the Communication and Public Affairs department for any needs related to the MFO artisan community (artisan selection for press releases, artisan selection for presence at events, etc.).

HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCESS WITH US?
To be successful Digital Manager, we will expect you to have the following skills:

  • 3 years minimum experience in digital management (experience in both internal and external digital projects a plus)
  • Be user oriented from the conception to the implementation of digital projects
  • Very good organizational and project management skills
  • Creative and open minded
  • Knowledge in art and design and interest in the “métiers d’art”
  • Ability to conduct research, target relevant information
  • Computer proficiency including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Fluent in English and/or in French, Italian is an asset
  • Team Player
  • Hard-working attitude
