Responsibilities

You will assume responsibility for the overall performance of the service delivery organisation across several EMEA regions. You will engage and collaborate with senior level stakeholders internally and externally, as you strive to create exceptional experiences and business value.   For your team, you will create clarity in a complex organizational environment, generate energy through a bias towards action, and deliver results.    

Business Ownership

Key areas you will be accountable for include:
  • overall performance of the practice. 
  • playing a critical role in aligning Microsoft strategy with customer expectations and ensuring high quality engagements.  
  • developing long term customer relationships, growing revenue, and establishing the plans to drive growth and profitability
  • accelerate the adoption of advanced support models and solutions, and promoting Microsoft Services strategy.   
Management: 
  • building organisational capability, stewarding talent management and succession, and building diverse and inclusive teams.
  • coaching managers with a focus on getting the best out of each person.  
  • Adopting a management style based on empathy and humility, and fostering an culture of teamwork and collaboration. 
  • Creating an ethos of management excellence across your teams.  
Leadership
  • Demonstrating a capability to orchestrate organisational matrices in an enterprise scale business and comfortable dealing with complexity and ambiguity.   
  • Able to articulate Microsoft Services mission, goals, and strategies to all audiences and help them understand how they play a part in our customers’ success. 
  • Demonstrating judgement in tough commercial and people situations
  • Adept stakeholder management skills and able to impactfully engage within the leadership community to meet business goals and drive change.
Qualifications

Having worked at a senior level in your most recent role, you will be familiar with the challenges of running a consulting organisation and you will be able to articulate your vision of what a great advisory practice looks like. You will be given the autonomy and accountability to achieve this and, in order to do, you will be able to demonstrate:

a proven record of delivering the full life cycle of services (strategy, consulting, support) from pre-sales through delivery in large, global organisations. 

multimillion dollar P&L or budget responsibility
  • Experience of leading senior managers and directing large teams that are located in multiple locations
  • an understanding of the markets we operate in, our customers, the competitive landscape and the relevant technology
  • experience in consulting and client management
  • an understanding of the required skills, methods and tools needed to deliver services effectively
  • a background in solving large and complex customer issues successfully by collaborating with senior leaders (customer and internal stakeholders)
