Financial Analyst

Permanent contract -100%/ Lausanne, Switzerland

You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills. You can communicate with confidence. You are comfortable in a team environment with changing priorities and time pressure. You are able to effectively manage and build excellent relationships in a matrix environment. You hold a degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or Economics, or equivalent. You have a 1 to 3 years’ successful professional experience in FP&A, business analysis or financial control in an international environment. You speak fluently French and English. You have advanced Excel skills (dashboarding on Power-BI is a plus) and are a good user of the rest of the MS Office suite (Powerpoint and Word). You have a practical knowledge of management accounting, consolidation systems (e.g. Dynamics) and reporting (e.g Jedox). You have a valid Swiss work permit or Swiss citizenship.

As Financial Analystyou will provide value-added financial and analytical insights into the Swiss Hospitality brands operations, helping Management take informed decisions to drive the business. Your main missions will be:

Enrolment and Marketing functions finance management:
- Produce month end detailed reporting for each department in due time and accurately
- Analyze business results and provide value-added insights to Management on variances versus budget and forecast
- Regular meetings with departmental managers to discuss financial performance and identify risks or savings to the budget
- Work closely with enrollment and Marketing departments to produce budget, forecast

Student Enrolment reporting:
- Review and validate the campus submission of student enrolment (submission is monthly, forecast, budget)
- Other: weekly reporting of enrolment and financials related to student enrolment, weekly supplier payment proposal

System:
- User support on finance system (PO / invoice approvals, etc…) and training on Finance planning tools (Jedox)
- Ability to learn setting up rules in the cubes from the reporting system (Jedox)
- Develop dashboarding on Power BI is a plus
