Your field of responsibility


We are offering a challenging leadership position within the Emerging Europe Business Area of In-ternational Wealth Management. In this role you will have the remit to coach a team of 8 colleagues with 4 highly motivated direct reports. The responsibility to support the BA Management in Switzer-land and in the international offices by maintaining a robust risk culture in identifying, preventing and minimizing business risks by implementing an effective risk governance and control framework in compliance with the bank policies and standards. You will take the ownership for the smooth
implementation and enforcement of the relevant Compliance and Operational Risk frameworks and policies within the BA and for the optimization and analysis of existing internal processes jointly with the main interfaces, (e.g. Compliance and IWM FLDS). You will be required to prepare the business for and accompany internal audits and provide support for the implementation of audit recommenda-tions, actively support the front office in special risk-related topics and drive important risk project and initiatives.
Monitoring the control performance indicators as well as the development losses, provisions and legal cases will be part of you function.

Your skills and experience


You describe yourself as a persuasive communicator with a positive “can-do” attitude who can iden-tify areas of improvements and gaps.

  • University Degree in banking and finance or equivalent higher education
  • A minimum of 10 years’ experience, preferably in a front position in Private Banking or within the Legal and Compliance audit area.
  • Established track record in a management position, ideally in a financial institution or a large international organization
  • Excellent communication skills in English in German and any other market relevant language
  • Ability to handle a Senior Partner and build and maintain trusted relationships at all management levels.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, strong analytical and conceptual skills with a structured and solution ori-ented approach.
