As a Full Stack Software Engineer in Axpo Distribution, you will work on challenging projects and solve difficult tasks related to the provision of high-quality software products for the energy industry. The products you develop will support our employees as well as external partners and customers in meeting the challenges of the energy transition. You will be part of an interdisciplinary team responsible for building and operating data-driven digital products and re-usable platform components.
- Able to quickly prototype and develop working applications across the full spectrum: from frontend interface to APIs and databases
- Collaborate with product managers and all kinds of engineers to build our software products
- Build efficient and maintainable frontend solutions
- Develop backend APIs and services
- Identify and solve performance issues
- Participate in design and code reviews
- Share best practices with others and help establish software engineering standards
- At least 2-4 years of working experience in software engineering
- Strong grasp of HTML, CSS, JS and related web technologies
- Familiar with tools like Postman, CLI, debugging tools in browsers and similar
- Experience with client-side web application framework such as Angular, React or similar
- Familiarity with server-side web frameworks such as FLask, FastAPI or ASP.NET Core
- Demonstrated design and UX sensibilities
- Awareness of cross-browser compatibility issues and client-side performance considerations, especially on mobile
- Experience with testing, git, CI/CD, packages, containers
- Strong experience in Service-Oriented Architecture environments, APIs, services, architectures
- Ability to learn new technologies, proactively spread your knowhow and collaborate within different projects
- Fluent in German or English
- Good sense of humor
