Generative AI and HR Tech Innovation Specialist

If so, you might be the perfect fit for our Generative AI and HR Tech innovation Specialist position. As a Generative AI and HR Tech innovation Specialist at ABB, you will play a pivotal role in driving our organization’s transformation journey towards harnessing the power of Artificial Intelligence (AI), HR technology and data to maximize the impact of our Learn, Connect and Grow (LCG - our flagship learning and development program) and Employee Engagement strategies by creating, delivering and maximizing innovative solutions. The location of the role is flexible within Europe (preferably outside Switzerland).

Your responsibilities

  • Work in partnership with the IS and HR teams to ensure a seamless integration of AI-powered solutions into Learn Connect, Grow initiatives and beyond. E.g. HR ChatABB AI Bot.
  • Conduct research and analysis on best practices, trends, and innovations in the field of AI and new HR technologies, with a special focus around LCG and engagement.
  • Identify, evaluate and prototype new ways of working and new tools based on the latest technological trends. Champion change management efforts to drive adoption and transformation within the HR function.
  • Manage relationships with vendors, staying up-to-date with product updates, negotiating contracts, and ensuring our HR Tech stack aligns with our evolving needs.
  • Continuous Improvement and Optimization: Proactively identify opportunities to enhance our HR Tech stack offering on our learning technologies and solutions, optimize processes, and drive efficiency, while keeping abreast of industry best practices.
  • Compliance and Security: Ensure our HR Tech solutions on LCG and employee engagement topics complies with legal, ethics and security requirements, including data protection regulations.
  • Work in close collaboration with People Analytics and HR Services departments to organize the data collection, analysis, reporting, communication and usage of KPIs on LCG and employee engagement topics.

Your background

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Engineering or related field. Master’s degree and relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills, and the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • A strong sense of curiosity, creativity, and innovation, and the willingness to learn new skills and to adapt to evolving HR technology trends.
  • Experience in designing, experimenting, piloting and implementing new technology-based solutions.
  • A high level of proficiency in one or many of the following fields:
  • HR technologies (e.g. Learning Management Systems, Learning Experience Platforms, Human Capital Management systems, Applicant Tracking systems, Talent management systems, Engagement Survey platforms etc).
  • AI-based tools (Large Language Models GPT-4 and LLAMA, Midjourney, etc.), AI ethics, responsible AI practices.
  • HR processes, compliance, and data privacy regulations
  • Process Excellence (e.g. Lean Six Sigma)
  • Data analytics
  • Basic Programming skills (e.g. VBA, javascript, Microsoft PowerAutomate).
