Global eCommerce and Digital Channel Manager

In this role you will be responsible for developing and maintaining a highly effective and innovative eCommerce and digital sales channel globally, to grow ABB Robotics’ market penetration and realize sales aspirations, strengthening the eCommerce and Digital Market. You will place the sales channel within the current and future platform landscape, planning and monitoring marketing strategies in close cooperation with internal and external parties. Your responsibilities

  • Leading the eCommerce team with its related activities.
  • Defining and implementing the eCommerce and digital platform deployment roadmap
  • Managing a pipeline/roadmap of a comprehensive deployment plan (IS, commercial terms, testing, training, sales plans, etc.).
  • Ensuring the collection and coordination of requirements from business and act as primary contact towards release management team for design and prioritization.
  • Working with development leads/ architects and networking /coordinating with other application leads, through the entire release management process (design, development, and test phases).
  • Communicating progress, timelines, and deliverables to key project stakeholders.
  • Assisting in the rollout of Punchout, On-line distributors, Marketplace, and Order Handling functionalities
  • Managing relationships with 3rd party system partners/integrators to deploy platforms in full, on time, and within budget.

Your background

  • 5+ years of experience in implementations and roll-out of B2B eCommerce and related digital platforms. Consulting experience in eCommerce would be a plus.
  • Knowledgeable on eCommerce order-related process flows (lead and opportunity management, configure, price, quote, order, invoice, shipments, credits, etc.) and related downstream applications (Salesforce.com, CPQ platforms, SAP, etc.).
  • Experience with Adobe/Magento Commerce cloud with extensive experience in configuration and business/customer onboarding is a plus.
  • Sound knowledge of project management and application development lifecycles, testing, implementation, systems administration, and support post-implementation.
  • Strategic mindset with strong analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving skills and ability to pick up new technologies.
  • A Bachelor/Master degree or equivalent in Business, Engineering or Information Management/Technology, Computer Engineering or related fields.
  • Verbal and written fluency in English is mandatory, other languages are a plus.
