Global Employer Brand, Early Talents, and Candidate Experience Lead

Location: Global This role is a key Talent Acquisition leadership role in a decentralized and truly global environment, operating withing a global center of expertise with all the accountability for the strategic direction and value creation of our Early Talent, Employer Brand and Candidate Experience initiatives. The role will report to the Global Head of Talent Acquisition - Global Strategy & Electrification (VP).

Your responsibilities

  • Develop ABB’s presence as Employer of Choice for professionals and early talents on the main social media and digital platforms, creating ad hoc content and campaigns with the support of experts and external agencies. Ensure globally consistent Employer Brand Communication online (Career website, job boards, etc.) and offline (printed materials, live interaction on campus, etc.) throughout the candidate experience journey.
  • Contribute to the development of a refreshed EVP if necessary.
  • Own the Job Ads quality and improvement process, implementing changes to the process and systems to improve candidate experience.
  • Build and manage the given Budget.
  • Responsible for the design and implementation of the Global early talent attraction strategy, bringing it to execution through local teams:
  • Strategic University Relations management and development,
  • Early Talent rotational and development programs (Graduate Programs, Excellence Program, shorter talent engagement programs) design, implementation, and management,
  • Worldwide cooperation with students’ networks (Unitech, Femtec, BEST, Women in Tech, etc.). This includes the contract/partnerships negotiations.
  • Act as an advisor and/or own specific TA and EB tools like interview/assessment solutions (HireVue, Phenom One-way interview), lead generation tools (CRM), career site (CMS), candidate experience improvement tools (content creation tools).
  • Manage and develop the global Talent Ambassadors program, establishing, training, and developing a passionate ambassador network of business professionals, to represent ABB in a highly motivating way at strategic universities, career fairs and/or employer branding activities.
  • Ensure we drive to a diverse and inclusive approach in all our hiring activities. Develop and implement, via local teams, innovative programs to drive diversity to the next level in the industry and offer designated development programs for female talents, like the Sustainable Talent Program.
  • Share best practices throughout the global talent community to support talent attraction activities. Set clear and simple KPIs, keeping the candidate experience, business expectations and business needs in focus.
  • Evaluate success of programs and employer branding activities by analyzing key performance indicators, share best practices with global teams, and pursue continuous improvement.
  • Complete the organizational setup of the Center of Expertise and its delivery model. Manage and own the global University Relations, Early Talent and Employer Branding Budget and ensure compliance with FTE and cost. Lead, develop, and coach a team of highly skilled and passionate specialists responsible for building and fostering relationships. Manage a direct team of around 4-5 people and positively influence a team of around 20 dotted line specialists.
  • Closely cooperate with the respective business leaders and all stakeholders involved on a constant base, to ensure we are establishing a function which is outperforming the industry, becoming a competitive advantage for ABB, and adding real value to our businesses on a global base

Your background

  • Bachelors or Master’s degree in HR Management, Marketing, Branding or Communication with at least 10+ years of proven track record in strategic university relations, employer branding and early talent space.
  • Proven experiences and results in the field of Employer Branding for both students and professionals. Pre-existing relations with top universities and student associations will be a plus as well as experience in an international, global corporation environment is an asset.
  • Solid business acumen to understand business priorities and position the employer value proposition with graduates and professionals.
  • Ability to build effective networks and maintain a close dialogue with key stakeholders in pursuit of defined goals.
  • Finely honed interpersonal and team management skills as well as the ability to influence dotted-line reports.
  • Passion for talent development, high degree of flexibility, and determination to see projects through to fruition.
  • Refined communication and presentation skills on all levels inside the organization as well as to strategic external partners and a self-driven, resilient, energetic; creating or responding constructively to challenging new ideas and inputs.
