With sales of more than $100m annually, direct responsibility for about 30 sales people, through multiple direct reports. We are currently looking for a confident, proven, and experienced Global Sales Director to lead change and transformation of the Fire Smart Edge OEM business segment.

The Global Sales Director is responsible for meeting revenue, margin, mix and receivables financial goals, together with managing costs, developing sales and go-to-market strategies to generate demand, together with driving growth across the globe.

The position is based out of Rolle (Hybrid), Switzerland.

Tasks

Responsibilities:
  • Achieve orders and revenue to deliver Annual Operating Plan commitments by month, quarter and annually
  • Define strategies and initiatives to deliver growth
  • Accurate forecasting of orders and growth opportunities
  • Creates a culture of accountability that supports AOP delivery
  • Manage sales cost and achieve sales productivity goals Responsibilities
  • Recruit, train, appraise, motivate and set standards of job performance for the sales organization reporting through them
  • Responsible for sharing best practices across the sales teams
  • As a member of leadership team, coordinate activities with other functions and across regions to achieve overall business results
Requirements

You Have:
  • Bachelor degree
  • 7-10 years of global sales experience (ideally industry knowledge)
  • Fluent English
  • Willing to travel globally (40%-50% split)
  • Thinks big and can make it happen. A growth mindset with a strong can-do attitude
  • Pushes self and others to achieve results, holding a high bar of accountability
  • Manages, inspects and uses data/metrics, a strong management operating system
  • Manage and direct resources towards meeting clearly articulated account and regional growth objectives, with associated account and territory plans
  • Strong coaching and influencing skills with the ability to successfully work in a matrixed organization motivating and inspiring others
  • Proven and demonstrable success in transforming sales teams and leading change
  • Financial and business acumen; thinks and operates as an owner
  • Able to operate with ambiguity, takes intelligent risks with decisive action in the face of uncertainty
  • Capable of balancing short term results with long term strategy
  • Extensive B2B sales experience, with further experience within a successful sales leadership role
