Major Functions

Responsibilities
  • Keep web content up to date, relevant, accurate and engaging
  • Ensure compliance with investor relations requirements regarding publishing financial releases and results
  • Write and upload web content fit for purpose and following SEO best practices
  • Support Digital team with website and email campaigns
  • Support Digital team in their daily functions
  • Support Holcim local market teams and respond to digital requests across the organization
  • Support Holcim local market teams to deliver effective digital comms and content
  • Ensure accuracy and best practice across all web and email content
  • Support project and campaign digital content delivery
  • Liaise with agencies and suppliers and manage relationships
  • Support migration of website from Drupal 7 to Drupal 9 in country markets
Major Duties And Responsibilities
  • Write, create, build and publish content for Holcim including:
    • Financial results
    • Media releases
    • Web pages
    • Blogs, news and updates
    • External emails
  • Liaise with suppliers and agencies
  • Provide tactical digital support to the organization and its markets
  • Drive best practice for our digital efforts
  • Support thought leadership and position Holcim as the voice for the industry when it comes to green and sustainable building globally
  • Provide training and support to colleagues in regards to best practice on digital communications
  • Liaise with Branding team on image sourcing for web
  • Liaise with Media team on publication of media releases
  • Liaise with Investor Relations team on publication of quarterly financial results and Annual Report
  • Produce email newsletters and manage email journeys with Digital team
  • Produce landing pages and digital materials
  • Provide tactical support to the organization for digital content production
  • Drive best practice when it comes to web experience
  • Manage and grow SEO opportunities with Digital team
  • Ensure digital content is accurate and on-message prior to publication
  • Ensure media releases, results and other key materials are uploaded to the website on time
Education/Qualifications
  • A bachelors or equivalent in communications, marketing or other relevant fields
  • Relevant advanced qualifications in communications, design, media, technical, or other related subjects desirable
Experience
  • 3+ years experience of digital communications and content creation
  • Demonstrable experience working with internal and external stakeholders in a complex, large, global organization
  • Demonstrable experience and understanding of financial reporting
Knowledge & Skills
  • Excellent organization skills, ability to prioritize, attention to detail
  • Proven track record creating digital content across web and email
  • Proven track record working with content management systems
  • An understanding of XHTML, CSS, especially Drupal 9
  • Rich media editing and/or design (e.g. Photoshop) skills
  • Knowledge of analytics platforms incl Google Analytics
  • Experience of working with and managing digital and creative agency relationships
  • Articulate, creative, passionate, flexible and resilient
  • Interest in sustainability and environmental issues
  • Experience of working in an international environment and multi-cultural team
  • Proactive attitude and ability to take initiative and work independently
  • Excellent team player with good networking and interpersonal skills

Excellent written and spoken English – other language(s) an advantage.
