Our client is a Group Company of a listed Mining and Trading company, headquartered in Zug with worlwide activities and subsidiaries.

In order to strengthen the small Finance Team in Zug we are looking for a self-motivated and analytical

Group Financial Accountant

This role is an integral part of the HQ Finance Team to meet the financial reporting and analysis requirements of the Group.

The main duties include but are not limited to the following:

As part of the team, assist in the preparation of monthly consolidated management accounts to strict deadlines for inclusion in monthly board reporting including key performance indicators and cash flows Financial controller duties involving ad hoc analysis and reporting, as weil as investigating variances
  • On-going coordination with all key stakeholder groups to resolve reporting, process, and accounting issues
  • Prepare budget,forecast and variance analysis
  • Assist in the annuallFRS consolidation audit process
  • lnvolvement in ad hoc and continuous improvement projects,as they arise
Profile, qualifications,and experiences:

The idealcandidate will be a qualified accountant with a diploma/degree in accounting
  • 2 - 3 years of post-qualification working experience
  • Big 4 experience or experience in a large PLC environment is a distinct advantage
  • Dynamic and lateral thinking individual with advanced analytical skills
  • Strong sense of responsibility,ownership,and attention to detail
  • Positive, enthusiastic attitude with a streng desire to learn
  • lnterest in technology and willingness to understand the technicallandscape
  • Keen to identify process improvement
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and preferably familiar with Microsoft ERP
  • Experience with Analysis for Office and Power BI are an asset
  • Fluent English (spoken and written)
