We are looking for our HR Onboarding Specialist to join, as part of a job creation, our Training team based in Geneva. Our team provides HR services to two entities: Trading & Shipping as well as TotalEnergies Gas & Power

TotalEnergies has developed a strong expertise in oil and biofuels, natural gas and electricity trading. Trading entities are based in Geneva, Paris, Houston and Singapore.
TotalEnergies installed its European trading hub across in Geneva, which now bring together very large teams around trading activities: TotalEnergies Trading & Shipping (T&S)and TotalEnergies Gas and Power (TGP).
T&S is the trading company in charge of all physical trading and shipping of crude oil and refined products including biofuels on behalf of the TotalEnergies. It has been a major and active participant all over the supply chain as well as on the derivatives paper market in order to manage market risk.
TGP is the trading arm of TotalEnergies in the field of low carbon energies. As such, it operates in fast-evolving market dynamics influenced by internal and external factors that require constant adaptation and evolution.
The Trading division in Geneva is responsible for optimising the purchase & sales portfolios of gas, electricity, CO2 emissions, dry bulk, and LNG in all recognised markets worldwide, in compliance with the Company trading guidelines.
In such context, TGP helps to ensure growth and profitability to a key segment of the business in order to reach the objective of Carbon Neutrality by 2050.

What you will do

Reporting to our Training Manager, you will play a key role, in managing the end-to-end onboarding process, ensuring a great experience for new employees and a smooth start into their roles. You will also work on developing new projects related to training.

Your main missions will be to:

ONBOARDING PROGRAM
  • Organise onboarding sessions to provide the most engaging and enjoyable welcome to our newcomers
  • Coordinate onboarding journey with the various stakeholders involved
  • Help in creating standards for core onboarding content
  • Ensure timely execution and completion of a seamless workflow for each new employee
  • Manage the HSE sessions for new T&S and TGP arrivals on the Geneva site
  • Organise T&S integration seminars in Geneva
  • Manage the logistical organisation of sessions and seminars: invitations, coordination with speakers and guests, venues/rooms booking and lunches

SPECIFIC INDUCTION PROGRAMS
  • Participate in the induction program for new traders
  • Participate in the deployment of the Graduates induction program

KPIs and REPORTING:
  • Define and monitor KPIs
  • Ensure the data are correctly uploaded to our Learning Management System in order to facilitate reporting
  • Follow up with new hires to gather and analyse feedbacks to identify potential process improvements
  • Provide regular reporting and project updates to team manager and senior management

CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT:
  • Identifying innovative and creative new ways to onboard new employees/reach a more scalable and measurable onboarding experience
  • Acting as a subject matter expert and making recommendations on how to improve process efficiency
  • Participate in all other initiatives related to the development of training projects

Working in a fast-paced trading environment requires the jobholder to be able to work autonomously as well as part of a team. The position requires daily interaction with other departments within the organization as well as with external providers.

Candidate profile

  • You hold a master’s degree in Human Resources or an equivalent in the Training field
  • You have a solid experience in one or more of the following areas: HR, project management, cross-functional work
  • You have outstanding organisational skills with rigor and high attention to detail allowing you to prioritize and handle multiple tasks at once with limited guidance and a results driven approach.
  • Ability to manage across the board with a genuine customer service spirit
  • Creative mindset and hands-on mentality.
  • A previous experience in training project management will be highly considered as well as experiences in leading and facilitating training sessions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office/Suite.
  • Fluent in French and English.
