On behalf of our client, a private bank based in Geneva, we are currently looking for an

Investment Advisor

Main responsibilities:

Identification of Investment opportunities and writing of investment ideas for all asset classes
Preparation and conduction of the investment ideas/sales meetings with RMs
Portfolio review and investment proposals in line with clients’ risk profile and investment objectives
Full support to RM & EAM for all investment related question/research (all asset classes)
Managing the equity recommendation lists (Europe, Switzerland, USA)
Managing equity certificates (AMCs)
Writing of the “Market Review and Outlook” monthly Newsletter/Factsheet
Perform controls on advisory accounts for risk management (Monthly)
Preparation of documents for the investment committee (SAA/TAA, Jaive) + active participation to the Investment Committee (member)
Frequent contacts with various partners (Fund managers, Investments Banks, brokers, etc)
Full back-up for DPM
Other administrative tasks and projects (keep intranet page up to date, update directives and documents, Avaloq testing, PRC project, etc.)

Your profile:

Higher education in Finance and/or specialized qualification such as CFA, CAIA, CIIA
3-5 years experience in an Advisory role within a private bank
Excellent knowledge of the market (macro and strategies) as well as excellent knowledge of standard (stocks/bonds) and structured products
Fluent in French and English (other language such as German or Russian a great plus)
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Positive can do attitude, outgoing personality, team player and willing to learn
