In this role you will be responsible to use your technical expertise and lead the team from technology stand point to develop and align with the technology roadmap for managing Windows Endpoint devices for ABB’s end users worldwide. You will coordinate and supervise internal and external 3rd party supplier resources for the effective delivery and operational performance of the endpoint services, ensuring its continuous improvement and compliance. Windows Endpoint services include end user software distribution, patch management, OS imaging and update, device enrollment and provisioning, and configuration policies.

Your responsibilities

• Key contributor to the global transformation towards modern endpoint management
• Key contributor on the design and optimization of Windows OS Imaging with the use of modern toolset and technology
• Ability to translate business requirement into technical solution
• Collaborate with the service owner and the architecture team to contribute in building the future roadmap Windows clients (physical or virtual) targeted towards optimization and cost reduction
• Participate in PoC and Projects on possibility to migrate on prem Windows endpoint management toolset to Cloud based management tools
• Raise endpoint management improvement requirements and ensures they are implemented with high quality
• Coordinate and collaborate with cross-services including network, hosting, identity and access management and software distribution services to elevate the endpoint services and provide better solution as per business requirements and better end user experience
• Verifies the user experience of endpoint management services, and continuously registers and implement changes to improve it
• Keep up with the technology changes and advanced toolset to provide state of the art solution

Your background

• Strong education in information management, computer systems, business engineering or similar
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the relevant service area are required
• In-depth knowledge of Windows Imaging process and management of Windows workloads
• Expertise in Unified Endpoint Management Tools (Microsoft Intune), Image Management (SCCM/Configuration Manager), Windows Policy management (GPO/Intune) and Identity Management (Azure AD) is a must
• Expertise in migrating workload from on-premises to cloud platform
• Expertise in designing/building configurations based out of OEM recommendations, Industrial best practices, and business needs for Windows endpoint management
• Demonstrated ability to maintain effective communication with business and project team
• Demonstrate ability to manage supplier, vendor, OEM to build an effective solution to match business requirements
• Proactive in Continual Service Improvement, always open to adopt new and innovative IS techniques and technologies
• Microsoft Azure certifications is preferred
• Fluent spoken and written English
• Advanced scripting knowledge is a nice to have
