Trainee IT Service Desk Technician

Internship contract/ Glion, Switzerland

You have finished the compulsory school, have a good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Good level of English and French (written and verbal); You are passionate about IT and are currently studying your apprenticeship in IT.


As Trainee IT Service Desk Technician, your main missions will be:

  • IT support for all students and employees, both face to face and remotely
  • Collect the customer’s information and determine the customer’s issue by analyzing the symptoms and figuring out the underlying problem (supervised by Service Desk Technician)
  • Categorize and prioritizing major Incidents and Service Requests to the appropriate team
  • Identify, escalate and follow-up incidents
  • Support audio and video equipment in classrooms and conference rooms
  • Troubleshoot basic network issues in computers, phones and tablets
  • Maintain and monitor internal assets to ensure accurate inventory records
  • Maintain photocopiers replacing consumables and escalating major incidents
