SOPHiA GENETICS is looking for a Knowledge Management Assistant to join the Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs (QARA) team at our headquarters in St-Sulpice, Switzerland. Reporting to the Head of Knowledge Management (KM), you will be responsible for supporting, enabling, and curating knowledge-sharing systems and channels. Additionally, working directly with platforms like those used for our global Quality and Learning management, you will analyze trends and usage, and develop metrics and indicators to monitor and guide continuous improvement of the Knowledge Management projects and initiatives, and the greater goals of the Regulatory and Quality department.

Your main tasks will be:

  • Management systems, and optimise the effectiveness of other internal databases and forums.
  • Develop new and improve existing knowledge sharing channels (intranet, Confluence, etc.).
  • Support document control processes including data entry, word processing, filing, organising, and ensuring adherence to Document Management / Configuration Control procedures and periodic review cycles.
  • Support stakeholders company-wide and identify improvements to harmonise and enable easy access and usage of the KM systems.
  • Write and maintain KM quality documents (SOPs, forms, Work Instructions, etc.).
  • Support company-wide communication, awareness and training efforts around KM initiatives.
  • Monitor and support the KM and QISMS service desks (JIRA) and serve as Knowledge ambassador to the entire organisation.
  • Support department initiatives.

Requirements

Overall

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Quality Assurance, Biology or another scientific field)
  • 1-2 years of experience in Process improvement / Quality System Management concepts
  • Working knowledge of Quality Management and/or Learning Management systems
  • Ability to coordinate projects at multiple levels
  • Mandatory C1 english level required (spoken and written)

The plus that can make a difference :

  • Working knowledge of ISO 13485 (others an advantage: 27001, 14971)
  • Experience with implementing and tailoring processes for continuous improvement
  • Familiarity with 21 CFR Part 820/ IVDR/MDR/ISO requirements
  • Excellent, demonstrable skills with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and Power Point
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in English
  • Previous experience with customer support is a benefit
