Laboratory Assistant 50%
We are looking for a motivated and hands-on person who will support our upstream team in their daily lab research work while ensuring that our lab safety and cleaning standards are met.
Your tasks:
- Preparation, assembly, autoclavation and cleaning of benchtop bioreactor vessels
- Preparation of media and stock solutions
- Organization and cleaning of glassware, consumables, and laboratory equipment
- Management and replenishment of laboratory consumables and chemicals
- Ordering of laboratory consumables and chemicals
- Coordination of equipment maintenance and repair in cooperation with our equipment and service suppliers
- Laboratory housekeeping
Your profile:
- Training and/or experience in the laboratory area would be an advantage
- Flexible, motivated and proactive working attitude
- Enjoy working independently
- Willingness to do physical work (lifting, carrying, cleaning)
- A flair for accurate and careful work
- Basic knowledge of the English language
