Proclinical are recruiting a Marketing Director for a leading biotech and pharmaceutical company. This role is on a permanent basis and located in Basel, Switzerland.

Job Responsibilities

• Will be the brand expert who leads commercial brand plan.
• Creating the brand plan
• Construct the key elements that define position as a leader in the vaccines market, working closely with the Country Director and the global and regional brand teams.
• Work effectively within the vaccines commercial function.
• Establish clear engagement plans and roadmaps.
• Assist field and partner needs.
• Work with the global and regional brand teams, lead implementation of core media and digital campaigns.
• Provide strong project management/leadership on key communications activities and initiatives.
  

Skills And Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 10 or more years of experience in vaccines/pharmaceuticals brand management and/or customer facing roles.
• Experience in the vaccine /infectious diseases fields - record of results and customer networks experiences.
• Ability to construct and maintain professional relationship
• Experience using innovative digital channels and platforms for communications.
• Makes appropriate recommendations using different digital channels and platforms
• Able to translate complex scientific information into clear and concise language, both verbally and in writing - strong writing skills
• Hands-on experience navigating complex product communications issues
• Knowledgeable in current and evolving communications tactics and channels.
• Able to think strategically, prioritizes effectively and delivers high-impact results
• Project management experience - managing several programs/ projects simultaneously
• Strong business acumen and an understanding of regulatory requirements as they relate to marketing programs and initiatives
• Leadership skills to influence without authority and work effectively with senior leaders
• Takes initiative and is able to work independently and is comfortable with ambiguity
• Negotiates and collaborates with stakeholders - ability to resolve conflict in a constructive manner
• Interpersonal and partnering skills, and the ability to build meaningful and sustainable relationships
• Team player with excellent organizational, influencing, presentation and written communications skills
• Solution-oriented, demonstrates quick analysis, thoughtful and ethical judgment, and rapid response on corporate reputational topics and issues
• Willing to drive and support change
• Ability to seek diverse input from multiple constituents and stakeholders to drive decisions and innovative solutions
