For our client, an international organisation based in Lausanne, we are seeking a Marketing Managerfor the Commercial Department.


Purpose of the Role :
The Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing the organisation and event promotion strategies as well as sponsor activation campaigns.
The Marketing Manager will also be responsible for increasing sponsoring by developing awareness of the organisation’s events and building brand equity. Moreover, he/she will contribute to the creation and further development of commercial and marketing strategies while managing relationships with internal & external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities :

MARKETING

  • Development and implementation of a yearly and a long term brand marketing strategy (campaign planning, execution, optimisation and reporting)
  • Development and implementation of a marketing strategy for the organisation’s corporate projects
  • Liaise with Organising Committees and other stakeholders to increase marketing exposure


EVENT MARKETING

  • Develop campaigns and coordinate effective story-telling across all platforms in collaboration with relevant departments
  • Develop event promotion toolkits or effective implementation of campaigns
  • Arrange the provision of content to Event Organisers to support in event promotion and increase exposure
  • Organise on-site event activations to support the event marketing campaigns
  • Ensure effective reporting on the campaigns to increase success


SPONSOR ACTIVATION

  • Develop sponsor fan engagement activations to enhance sponsor ROI
  • Ensure effective implementation and reporting of sponsor activations in collaboration with relevant departments and Organising Committees


Position Requirements :

  • Bachelor and/or Master degree in business, marketing or similar field
  • Fluency in English
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office and Photoshop
  • Proven expertise in marketing with the ability to manage marketing related projects
  • Experience in end-consumer focused industries.
  • Strong business acumen with results oriented skills
  • Affinity with digital marketing and social media engagement campaigns
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively as a team member of a fast-paced team
  • Ability to deliver to strict deadlines and to handle high pressure situations
  • Close attention to detail and accuracy


It is a maximum duration contract of up to 12 months. At the end of the mission, the contract is subject to be extended. The position is based in Lausanne and is available immediately.
