The role is based in Geneva, Switzerland and you will report to the Operations Finance Manager for EMEA.Responsibilities:You will provide analytical support to EMEA plants to drive improvement in a complex and exciting environment.
  • Develop operating budget and own the standard cost setting process, prepare monthly/quarterly forecasting reports for manufacturing costs and variances and improve plants performances,
  • Monitor and report financial performance, understand, explain and present root causes of variances. Work proactively to institutionalize improvements,
  • Collaborate with Procurement team to review and validate raw material purchase prices, secure master data to generate high quality standard cost,
  • Support Operations Finance close activities,
  • Foster strong business partner relationships with Sites management, Supply Chain / Procurement / Engineering as well as with other sub-functions in the Finance organization,
  • Participate in ad-hoc Operations Finance global projects.
About You,We are looking for a strong analytical mindset with prior experience in FP&A / Product Costing
  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in finance/Accounting/Business (MBA or Chartered Accountant/CMA preferred) and 1-3 years of experience in finance, ideally in a Manufacturing environment,
  • Experience with financial reporting cycle including annual business planning / budget / recurring forecasting and cost management (standard costing experience preferred),
  • Strong analytics skills and ability to provide in-depth explanation in a synthetic way, capacity to generate insightful outputs,
  • Ability to build effective business relationships, to communicate effectively and desire to take ownership,
  • Strong English, written and oral presentations skills,
  • Proficient in MS Office, including Excel & Power Point, ERP experience required – SAP S4 preferred.
