People Experience Specialist - Manager Experience

The People Experience Specialist – Manager Experience will play a pivotal role in shaping the overall end-to-end experience for managers across various key HR processes as part of our HR transformation journey, which includes the implementation of Workday as our HCM platform. This role requires a strategic and user-centric mindset to develop and implement solutions that optimize efficiency, engagement, and satisfaction for our managers with the goal of driving self-service and user adoption.

Your responsibilities

  • Identify and analyze key end-to-end (E2E) HR processes impacting and executed by people managers. Propose and develop solutions that streamline the processes and workflows, facilitate self-service, drive user adoption, and ensure an excellent user experience.
  • Collaborate closely with global cross-functional teams and gather feedback from managers and other stakeholders to inform solutions.
  • Partner with global stakeholders and the rest of the People Experience workstream to develop Journeys, walk-throughs, knowledge articles and other user-centric content in preparation for the go-live of the Workday HCM platform and beyond.
  • Develop a global onboarding standard for people managers at ABB.
  • Actively support and drive manager engagement in partnership with the Change Management and Communications workstream.

Your background

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
  • 10+ years proven experience in designing HR processes and solutions, with a focus on supporting managers and enhancing their end-to-end experience.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to interpret data and trends, diagnose problems, and formulate effective solutions.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders, especially during a transformation initiative.
  • Knowledge of HR applications and tools. Experience with Workday HCM system and WalkMe digital adoption platform is highly desirable.
  • Strong project management skills and demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, global environment, managing multiple priorities and stakeholders.
