Proclinical are recruiting a Project Engineer/Lead (Utilities) for a pharmaceutical corporation. This role is on a contract basis. The client is focused on assisting their clients within the healthcare market.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate, direct and organise protocol design evaluation workshops and progress meetings.
  • Document and offer contributions of status and forecast of utilities on cost and agenda.
  • Guarantee that plans follow good engineering practices, codes and standards.
  • Assume, handle and distribute clean and process utility systems for biopharmaceutical amenities as the project lead engineer throughout the design, procurement, project implementation and turnover to operations.
  • Direct engineering associates, EPCMV contractors and equipment vendors throughout the plan and implementation of CAPEX projects within a site in Visp.
  • Warrant that the client’s standards on an internal basis and needs are precisely combined.
  • The ideal candidate will cooperate with all parties included in responsibilities, for example: equipment and systems design, specification production, tendering, accelerating, FATs, SATs, commissioning, qualification and start up.
  • Supervise align and evaluate engineering papers generated by the EPCMV contractor.
  • Other duties may be assigned to this role.
Skills & Requirements
  • Educated to a degree level in a process, mechanical engineer, or similar discipline.
  • Comprehension and know-how of clean/process and black utility needs for biopharmaceutical manufacturing amenities.
  • GMP abilities with knowledge in pharmaceutical standard guidelines such as ISP, EU GMP, ASME, CFR, etc.
  • Capable of initiating commercial and agenda consciousness throughout all stages of the project cycle.
  • Able to think analytically with the ability to rise when new challenges arise.
  • An organised individual who is structured and has a high attention to detail.
  • Documentation skills with the capacity to be cross culturally conscious and adaptable.
  • Be willing to take risks.
  • A self-starter who is active, able to resolve issues and communicate both verbally and written within a highly agile setting.
  • Fluency in the English and German languages.
  • Experience in design engineering during stages from viability to detail planning.
  • Demonstrated past of on-sit project engineering in a life science organisation / high technology division, which involves start-up and qualification stages.
  • Exhibited the accomplishment of designing clean / process utility systems.
  • Familiarity in an engineering setting, oriented on implementation and projects delivery.
