Role Purpose

Responsible for the execution of marketing plans and programs with the key stakeholders (surgeons, cardiologists, and patients). Manages relationships with global marketing, sales managers and cross-functional stakeholders. Initiates the development and management of: i) product strategies in Europe ii) dedicated omnichannel campaigns

Job Functions

I. Plan and execute measurable online promotional campaigns (therapy development) for a key Surgical portfolio, aligned to strategic & operational business objectives:

  • Lead and manage digital campaigns implementation processes.
  • Develop phased message development, delivery, implementation.
  • First party data and customer relationship management platforms leverage (SFDC).
  • Manage the segmentation of markets and stakeholders.
  • Identify and report compelling metrics to top management

II. Launch and manage products in the EU market:

  • Analyze the landscape
  • Build relationships with key opinion leaders (KOL) and Edwards cross-functional team to inform product plans
  • Develop and implement the go-to-market strategy: positioning, pricing, distribution, promotion
  • Approve materials, support sales force training and localization of messaging and collateral
  • Lead product presence at relevant internal and external meetings

III. Gain credibility with the commercial team by being the point of contact for field requests

IV. Establish him/herself as the product and campaigns owner with internal stakeholders

V. Contribute to development of Edwards Surgical EU & Marketing Plan.

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3-7 years relevant work e xperience working in marketing required; sales and/or healthcare industry experience is a plus, but not a pre-requisite

Required Skills

  • Expertise and experience in Data action plan management & analytics and digital media management
  • Expertise in product management
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as interpersonal relationship skills including ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels
  • Excellent problem-solving , critical thinking, and investigative skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast paced environment
  • Availability to travel up to 20%
