Proclinical are recruiting a QC Lead for a medical technology and devices organisation. This role is on a permanent basis and is located in Solothurn. The client is focused on designing, evolving, producing and selling products for eyes as well as companion delivery systems.

Responsibilities
  • Guide and assist in the implementation of quality control connected design control and validation protocol actions as allocated by protocol writer.
  • You will train, mentor and evolve quality control inspectors as well as develop training plans.
  • Organise the QC team to guarantee accomplishment of all testing, which involves raw resources, in-process, final release, etc., in a timely manner.
  • The ideal candidate will interface with external auditors such as informed bodies, FDA, etc., throughout audits.
  • Contribute to planning and accomplishment of corrective action plans when required.
  • Guarantee that personnel are suitably trained, cross-trained and/or qualified as well as that the training records are kept up to date.
  • Supervise the manufacturing and quality settings by evaluation of the temperature and magnehelic charts and logs.
  • Other duties may be assigned to this role.
Skills & Requirements
  • Familiarity with quality control with at least 3 years of experience within a medical device organisation, which involves practical implementation of FDA Quality system guidelines and ISO 13485 or similar.
  • Know-how of manufacturing procedures, for example: injection moulding, assembly, packaging and sterilisation.
  • Acquaintance with inspection and clean room would be beneficial.
  • An organised individual with presentation and monitoring abilities.
  • Fluency in the English language with knowledge in German and/or French.
  • Communication skills both verbally and in writing.
  • Capable of working well under pressure with the ability to prioritise workload and handle various tasks simultaneously.
  • A dedicated individual who is motivated to work within a global and energetic work setting.
