Duration: 9 month

Your responsibilities include:
  • Developing and running high-throughput screening assays in droplets to enable rapid discovery of therapeutic antibodies using droplet-based microfluidics
  • Taking an active part in developing new biological assays and screens to accelerate the current drug discovery effort.
  • Implementation and generation of microfluidic chips
  • Work as part of the Antibody Discovery Team
  • Analyze and collect experimental data & present scientific interpretation in internal meetings

Minimum Requirements

What you’ll bring to the role:
  • Recent Master graduate with a degree in Biotechnology, Engineering or Biochemistry (completed within past 12 months)
  • Understanding and practical experience in droplet-based microfluidics and assay development in microfluidics and/or experience with antibody discovery technologies
  • Proficient in English (written and spoken)
  • Highly motivated and ability to work in an open, interdisciplinary, and collaborative environment
Optional Requirements:
  • Proficiency in mammalian cell culture, molecular biology, NGS, Dropseq methods and sequencing technologies
  • Familiarity with immune cell isolation, flow cytometry including cell sorting desired
  • Knowledge of data analysis software and basics in programming desired
