Regional Commercial Director EUCAN - CVRM

Location: Baar, Switzerland

Role Summary

Responsible for planning and leading the Cardiovascular, Renal and Metabolic disease (CVRM) commercial operations for Europe and Canada Commercial consistent with global guidelines from the TA Brand Lead.

Responsible for the implementation of the CVRM product marketing strategies and promotional programmes for Europe and Canada in collaboration with Global CVRM teams and local teams (marketing and sales). This position plays a pivotal role in setting strategy to achieve our CVRM product’s business goals, maintain/improve sales, profit, and market share, both with current and future indications for EUCAN 6 large markets (France, Germany, Italy, Spain, UK and Canada) and areas (Nordic, Western/ Southern Europe, Central & Eastern Europe & Baltic states).

Core Responsibilities

  • Represents the EU voice for CVRM into global, driven by insight from priority markets: To influence global strategy and deliverables for the benefit of EU
  • Act as the CVRM lead for EU Leadership Team / regional team
  • Define the EU TA priorities and MC expectations, support execution with top 8 countries
  • Define and implement above country activity plan to deliver on priorities
  • Ensure timely 1 way communication to all EU countries on global and regional strategies and deliverables for must win brands
  • Lead the respective BUD communities to ensure strong network for standard methodology sharing and collaborative issue resolution
  • Define core brand metrics and regularly monitor performance in top 8 markets
  • Ensure MC launch readiness for future brands in top 8 markets
  • Define and manage the execution of secondees and STA opportunities as appropriate
  • Foster ongoing EU talent development within TA

What do we need from you?

  • Qualified to degree level in a relevant subject area
  • Excellent influencing and people management skills. Capabilities including proven ability to influence without authority
  • Recent and extensive therapy area knowledge
  • Proven marketing, sales and commercial leadership experience, resulting in broad commercial competence
  • Experience of developing and implementing portfolio/brand strategy
  • Strong drive for performance
  • Strong Project Management track records
  • Understanding of the development and commercialization of pharmaceutical products in Europe
  • Understanding of Europe Healthcare environment
  • Mobility (frequent business trips)
  • Fluency in English
