In this role, you will support the implementation of Sonova’s health strategy by contributing with medical expertise to projects in the field of proactive medicine and vital-sign monitoring using wearable technology. You will be part of a growing health team in the Research & Development department located in Stäfa, working to guide technical health solutions with your proficiency.

Your tasks
  • Contribute health-science expertise to the development of use cases and technical solutions for cardiovascular diseases
  • Develop ideas for future cardiovascular disease solutions and act as a lateral leader in working towards them with your peers
  • Review and process research insights on health and independent living and coordinate research collaborations
  • Set up internal studies and collaborate with external research partners on cardiovascular diseases projects and act as principal investigator
  • Generate project documentation required for regulatory compliance
  • Support engineering, product marketing, and user experience teams in defining and building health monitoring products
  • Create intellectual property

Your profile
  • PhD degree in medicine, health science, or life science
  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience with excellent knowledge of cardiovascular diseases
  • Experienced in setting up and running clinical studies as principal investigator
  • Ability to make well-informed decisions and take accountability and ownership
  • International network for exchange of expertise and best-practices
  • Knowledge of reimbursement and insurance systems for medical treatments, is a plus
  • Fluent in English, German is a plus
