SAP S/4HANA Architect 80% - 100% (M/F) - IBM CIC

Introduction
As an IBM Application Architect, you directly help clients transform their business and solve complex problems. You will define the scope and vision for projects that deliver customized solutions using your knowledge of IBM platforms. You are a technical leader, serving as a liaison among business partners, technical resources, and project stakeholders.

Your Role and Responsibilities
Your Impact: As an Application Architect for SAP Solutions, in particular SAP S/4HANA implementation projects, you will:

• Manage the integration of entire SAP application landscapes - in particular based on S/4HANA - with additional best of breed technology solutions, for example for finance (invoice management, cash / bank integration, etc.), customer (point of sales, mobile applications, loyalty programs, order management) or logistics (warehousing, transportation, replenishment) processes
• Advise on SmartCloud for SAP solutions, advising client on the results and the tools, organization, processes and procedures that are needed to support and deliver SmartCloud services. Also, develop design specifications for SmartCloud services using guidance from IBM best practices and delivery assets.
• Design SmartCloud for SAP solutions using reference architectures and technical work products, design middleware conceptual designs and specified designs.
• Advise client on value of IBM SmartCloud for SAP Apps. Analyze client’s use of and need for IBM SmartCloud for SAP Apps consulting services to create strategic business advantage. Analyze cost effectiveness of client’s current operating environment to identify opportunities for improvement. Describe the IBM SmartCloud strategy and map service and key service products to client needs and pain points. Describe the value proposition, citing business value achieved by other clients, IBM differentiators & capabilities. Quantify benefits of the conceptual solution from the client’s perspective and resolve objections.
• Advise IBM technology thought leaders on the technical value and reference architectures and new service offerings of IBM SmartCloud for SAP by assessing and mapping the client’s infrastructure pain points to IBM SmartCloud for SAP benefits and business needs.
• Support and manage SAP implementation projects
• Support and manage SAP support and maintenance projects

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Experienced SAP architect with deep expertise in SAP and Technology Architecture
• Min. 7 years of experience in SAP consulting with at least 3 successfully completed full-lifecycle SAP ERP Implementation projects
• Experience from at least two successful SAP S/4HANA implementation projects
• Experience as a project manager or team lead
• Very good communication skills (verbal and written) in German and English
• Swiss nationality or valid Swiss work permit / EU passport

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Experience or knowledge in applying agile project delivery methods, e.g. Scrum, SAFe
• Experience in leading people or teams in an SAP implementation / project setting
