The MD organization encompasses four Franchises (Ethicon, CSS, DPS and JJV), spanning four geographic regions (EMEA, LATAM, ASPAC and North America).

This position as MD Segment Deliver Lead was put in place to focus on creating and deploying the strategic link between the DELIVER organization and the segment/sector Supply Chain senior leadership and commercial organization. Driving a true End to End partnership. As Segment Lead, you will be responsible for driving a connected and aligned strategy back into the end-to-end Supply Chain. Crucially, ensuring the focus on world class operations; digital transformation, integrating Deliver into the S&OP process and strengthening our financial position.

The successful candidate will be expected to develop strong partner relationships with all segment focused leads in RDO (CS, Distribution, Transportation), orchestrates regional Deliver LT for segment at a regular cadence, sits on segment SCLT representing Deliver EMEA and is dotted line to global Deliver lead for segment through Segment Deliver LT participation. The position manages for performance and unlocking value through network, product flows, cost to serve, outcome metrics.

We are looking for someone with a relevant portfolio of complex leadership experiences, centered on orchestration and influence of stakeholders; an end-to-end mindset; and a balanced focus on operations and customers.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • Single point of contact for Deliver across segment supply chain
  • Member of the Segment Supply Chain EMEA LT (Consumer)
  • Manage for performance, e.g. catalyze OTIF-D from OTIF-S, cost targets
  • Support Business Planning (DELIVER SG&A)
  • Accountability in embedding DELIVER in the S&OP processes and regional STEM
  • Feed Customer Insights into E2E SC solution building
  • Executing Customer Logistics Capabilities
  • Ensure flawless NPIs within region
  • Drive large scale EMEA programs (like One OTC, Radius)
  • Operational Orchestration, e.g. lead time visibility E2E
  • Orchestrate Segment Deliver team within RDO to manage for performance and outcome metrics
  • Ensure Deliver is integrated into existing E2E business processes
  • Bring functional business insights and analytics from Deliver to the E2E segment SC
  • Lead and develop an organization across Analytics and E2E Integrator functions, by empowering high performing team to engage in E2E collaboration and solutions with key stakeholders
  • Identify and champion a talent development strategy (JJSC People Strategy) for high potential and high performing talent for the segment
  • Engage both with internal & external sources to drive continuous improvement for the organization and benchmarks
  • Drive a culture of Safety & Compliance
Qualifications

Experience And Functional Competencies
  • Min. 10 years in end-to-end supply chain related disciplines with experience in Order-to-Cash functions strongly preferred
  • Track record of having led large-scale programs grounded in analytics and requiring E2E trade offs
  • Deep expertise across core order fulfillment processes
  • Demonstrated capability in building a distinctive customer experience
  • Network design, route to market transformation, E2E product flow visualization and optimization
  • Track record of developing and building diverse, high performance teams with a strong sense of mission
  • Strong analytical, strategic, and project management skills; proven track record in process design
  • Demonstrated impact in roles requiring orchestration and influence
  • Built functional excellence and driven continuous improvement
  • Presence and persistence to face off with and be a challenge partner to business leaders throughout regional Deliver
  • Ability to promote a vision and drive change to transform organizations, via strong engagement/communication
  • Collaboration - able to build strong partnerships internally and externally with customer focus
  • Highly skilled communicator with demonstrated ability to synthesize large quantities of information and present cogent recommendations
  • Results focus with proven track record of successfully developing and delivering on key strategic initiatives
  • Capable of achieving results in a highly-matrixed and global environment.
  • Highly collaborative and influential. Ability to work regionally and globally, across businesses, sectors, and functions.
  • E2E mindset and collaborative, influence-based leadership approach
  • Business fluent in English, fluency in additional European languages is a plus
Education

Education and/or additional training: BA in Logistics/Supply Chain/Business required; Advanced degree like MA and MBA preferred.
