Senior Finance Manager (m/f/d)

Regional Finance Leader partnering with sales and other functional leaders to drive profitable growth and financial results for EMEA

Responsibilities

• Drive business to achieve or exceeds targets on revenue, VCM and cash flow with highest integrity and compliance

• Responsible for AOP, quarterly forecasting and weekly financial SRO for the region

• Support sales leader including margin and other analyses

• Knowledgeable of US GAAP and SWISS tax requirements to ensure legal entity compliance

• Interface with controllership team for monthly closes (review of accruals, reclassifications, etc) and other activities (credit memos, vendor coding, IC recharges,e tc.)

• Quarterly Reporting of FX Actuals and Forecasts

• Build data driven culture leveraging and promoting Digital platforms, cost control, and analysis

• Focus on fixed costs and ensuring proper cost classification

• Influence and drive actions on pricing and margin improvement

• Focus on maximizing working capital- reduce inventory and engage with ISC team for IOS and C2C team for AFDA

• Involvement in M&A activities including due diligence and post transaction integration

• Work and align with cross functional leadership/team of Integrated Supply Chain, Engineering, Service, Customer Support, Marketing, HR and Commercial Excellence to achieve business commitments on a monthly basis

• Attract and develop talent including focus on building bench strength and creating succession plans

Skills required

• Qualified Chartered Accountant with 12 years or more of relevant experience
• Knowledge of Swiss legislation in relation to enterprises and taxes
• Demonstrated excellent leadership, team building capability to work in a diverse and fast paced environment
• Proactively questions current practices, ability to identify root cause to drive corrective actions and improve processes
• Ability to communicate at all levels in the organization and who thinks strategically to influence business decisions using appropriate, fact-based analytical skills
• Knowledge of SAP, Essbase/HP planning tools, HFM
• Knowledge/experience in manufacturing, cost accounting, Products and Solutions/service businesses
• Self-motivated, driving business initiatives
