Senior Identity & Access Management Consultant (m/w/x)

You will apply your technical skills to find the balance between enabling and securing the client’s organization with the cognitive solutions that are making IBM the fastest growing enterprise security business in the world.

Your Role and Responsibilities
The Senior Identity & Access Management Consultant within the IBM Security Business Unit is an advisors and technical consultants who has in-depth knowledge and experience in the core security domain Identity & Access Management (IAM) and should be able to speak across the cybersecurity landscape as well.
The consultant will provide subject matter expertise in the form of briefings, workshops, and/or consulting engagements within their domain. He/she should be able to assess a client’s security capabilities as well as recommend solutions to enhance a client’s overall security capabilities which may involve policy, process, technology, or organizational areas.
The consultant has expert knowledge in designing and implementation of complex federated identity and access models with real-time connection to other systems (source and client systems such as HR applications, Active Directory, LDAP, business application systems). They are literate in common and specific policies related to business user ID management and have specific (technical) knowledge on Privileged Access Management (PAM) including deep functional and technical understanding of at least one product (CyberArk, Saviynt or Thycotic).
Responsibility includes the overall leadership and delivery of the solutions from requirement gathering through implementation into operation.
The consultant will use in-depth knowledge of leading-edge products and technologies along with industry and business skills to influence outcomes. With persistence viable candidates make use of their technical and functional skills in understanding and managing consulting project engagements, developing management strategies, architectures, and implementation plans.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
We are looking for a professional with at least 5 years of experience.

• Verifiable experience in Cybersecurity (holding a CISSP or comparable certification in good standing).
• Verifiable experience as a Technical Specialist (e.g. certified by TOGAF).
• At least 5 years IAM/PAM hands-on experience.
• Experience in assessing, designing, implementing, customization and managing IAM systems.
• Extensive experience in analyzing and translating business into technical requirements/architecture.
• Experience in managing IAM Cloud based platform using automation/orchestration capability.
• Expertise with relevant IBM ecosystem (IBM Security Identity Manager, IBM Security Verify Governance, IBM Security Verify/IBM Cloud Identity, IBM Security Verify Access/IBM Security Access Manager, IBM Security Privileged Identity Manager).
• Experience in installation and configurations of related products like DBs, Directory Suite, Web Applications Servers, and Security Directory Integrator.
• Working experience to manage BAU operations, production deliverables and day to day tasks.
• Experienced in handling Incidents, Problems and Change Management.
• Experience with SSO systems and J2EE platform-based applications.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated, quick learner, and able to work as a team player in an international environment.
• Fluent in English

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Executed and supported IAM projects in the Finance/Banking industry.
• Working experience to implement and manage projects using agile methodologies.
• Project Management experience.
