Ferring+You
The Senior Manager A2R & Consolidation work closely with Group finance senior leaders, IT organization & transformation office, CoE, OneERP project team, to increase company’s efficiency and profitability by setting best in class A2R reporting process. You will support GPO A2R activities and drive cross-functional process efficiencies and value-added enhancements by managing various financial, operational, and systems-driven projects. You will also contribute to the reporting activities within the Consolidation & Reporting team and special projects.
Your day at Ferring
  • Propose & drive global A2R process improvements to increase efficiency & reliability of group finance reporting deliverables (ie. monthly financial review or annual Report sent to Executives and Board members)
  • Manage global finance projects to leverage technical and cross-functional resources, and proactively monitor project risks, issues, and scope, ensuring the appropriate level of priority, visibility, and escalation
  • Interact with Group Auditors to ensure a full compliance of the Financial Statement with IFRS
  • Establish the notes to the consolidated Financial Statements
  • Contribute to the review of the text and accuracy of the notes to the yearly Financial Statements
  • Carry out the maintenance/update of the Financial and Accounting Manual (F&A Manual) with financial and reporting needs and IFRS changes/updates
  • Carry out technical research on complex accounting issues and drive cross-functional implementation of new IFRS accounting standards
  • Create complex financial models and ad-hoc analysis (scenarii) to provide greater insights to business partners and Executive Management
  • Monitor financial performance by performing variance (actual vs budget/ current year vs last year) analysis and identified causes for unexpected variances
Behind our innovation…There’s you
  • Qualified Accountant or Final degree in Business Economics / Accounting Management
  • 10+ years of relevant experience within Finance Reporting / Consolidation, including between 3 and 5 years of relevant experience in IFRS Reporting
  • Experience working for international and matrix organizations
  • Knowledge of SAP 4Hana and COGNOS Controller is an advantage
  • Experiences in financial process or systems implementation
  • Excellent knowledge of IFRS
  • Excellent communication, and presentation skills
  • Good influencing skills to liaise with a large group of parties & senior leadership teams
  • Analytical skills to master complex problems and translate into solutions
