This position is based out of our office in Zurich, Switzerland, and is reporting to the Finance Senior Director, SEEMEA.

The Position

As the Senior Finance Manager SEEMEA you will be responsible for budgeting, reporting, and controlling in Region SEEMEA. You will act as a business partner, supporting the leadership team based from the hub in Zurich, providing information and analysis, to ensure we meet our financial targets, manage risks, and comply with all reporting requirements. In addition, you will be a key participant in the regional finance leadership team.

Supporting such a broad and diverse region, your ability to understand the business, markets, quickly extract relevant information, and adapt your approach to your audience and different cultures will set you up for success.


Furthermore:

  • You will be responsible for setting direction and ensuring high quality financial planning for the region and ensuring ongoing accurate and timely monthly and quarterly reporting.
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills are expected from you.
  • In addition, you will drive finance optimisation projects, across the region, and drive risk identification and reporting activities.

Qualifications

  • You likely have a Master’s degree, preferably in the discipline of Business Management, Marketing or Economics, in addition to several years of relevant experience in Finance positions, in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • We imagine you have gained international experience, working at both an affiliate and regional/corporate level, working in cross-cultural teams across different and complex markets.
  • You demonstrate strong analytical skills, learning agility and speed in the way you work.
  • You are an expert in financial systems, including SAP BW.
