Job Summary

Reporting to the Finance Director, the Senior Tax Manager EIMEA is responsible for direct and indirect taxes. The Sr. Tax Manager ensures accurate and timely submission of all tax filings and act as the Tax Advisor to the organization. He/she Manages the Tax Team and is the key liaison with the Head of Corporate Tax.

Responsibilities

  • Review and manage EIMEA tax compliance reporting obligations (CIT, VAT, Intrastat, etc.)
  • Support and advise the organization with tax assessment on company new commercial strategies and ad hoc projects (new markets, direct vs. indirect markets, tax vehicles, others) for the region
  • Be the regional primary contact towards corporate tax team (US based) and external tax advisors
  • Work closely with the legal team to update & maintain the intercompany agreements
  • Lead internal and external tax audits for the region
  • Oversee the annual tax provision for the region
  • Review and approve EIMEA legal entities quarterly transfer pricing (TP) calculation
  • Ensure EIMEA TP is applied in accordance with corporate TP policy
  • Oversee reconciliation of VAT accounts
  • Lead process improvements by developing innovative solutions for tax management using digital technologies
  • Stay up to date with any changes in law and ensure compliance with new law and regulations
  • Work closely with the operations team to ensure trade/tax compliance alignment of the physical and financial flows of the goods and services
  • Manage and develop the EIMEA tax team
  • Monitor tax budget allocated to the department

Experience and Qualifications

  • Tax expert qualification
  • 10+ years of increased responsibility in tax within an international environment
  • Excellent organization skills
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment
  • Fluent in French and English; others European languages a plus
  • Effective experience in tax audit management
  • Successful track record in demonstrating Accuray’s leadership competencies
