In this role you will be responsible for assisting the creation of strong, compelling video material according to ABB’s video

content strategies to support ABB’s business objectives and tell ABB’s story. This person produces high quality work in a studio

environment, as well as using editing software, in support of ABB’s strategy goals and to ensure video content excellence.

Your responsibilities
  • Positioning and operating cameras, lighting, vision-mixing equipment and other hardware to facilitate the creation of strong, compelling video productions
  • Working with green screen sets and other digital software
  • Assistance and production work on live streaming broadcasts for media or event participation
  • Digital video editing to create strong narrative films that represent ABB’s voice in external and internal digital channels
  • Works closely with content and media teams to provide compelling storylines, messages and videos, addressing external and internal audiences
  • Manages and carries out interviews with executives, staff members, customers and members of the public in a professional way
  • Drafts video briefs based on key messages, scripts and story lines for ABB videos
  • Provides advice on best use of ABB digital channels, in collaboration with social media and digital teams
  • Uses digital editing software to create full narrative films including interviews, voiceover music and graphics where appropriate
Your background
  • Experienced in practical camerawork and video editing software
  • Experience of studio environment
  • Strong visual storytelling skills
  • Ability to understand and master new technologies and work to high technical standards
  • Experience in communications and/or media an advantage
  • Fluent English; German an advantage
  • Must have experience in working to tight deadlines and under pressure
  • Must be a team player
  • Understanding of global issues (esp. technology, R&D) and international affairs; good understanding of business and economics
