The Cartier Supply Chain Compliance department is part of the international Cartier Supply Chain and aims at preventing any Supply Chain disruption of market access for all Cartier products distributed worldwide in a fast-moving regulatory environment.


MAIN PURPOSE


The Maison Compliance Project Manager reports to the International Maison Product Compliance Manager and plays a key role in the Cartier Compliance Supply Chain by implementing pro-active measures and delivering projects to further reinforce the Maison product governance and the Compliance processes for all product lines. He has a 360° view from raw material sourcing, manufacturing, distribution, and disposal processes.

The Maison Compliance Project Manager interacts closely with the Manufactures, Cartier markets teams and with Richemont Compliance & Legal teams.

The key responsibilities are centred on people awareness, operating model, and solutions implementation.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


Compliance Governance:

  • Ensure the Maison adherence to the group directives and recommendations related to the Maison Supply Chain, from raw material to finished goods distribution through the group and external partners (Suppliers, Customers, 3PLs,)
  • Ensure all products novelties will be released fully compliant on all the markets. Ensure the required proof of conformities to be available before releasing products on the markets for meeting any local requirements.
  • Manage with the group support all Maison derogations related to the group directives after assessing the risks and mitigation actions.
  • Establish reports, KPIs, newsletters and all communication material to various international teams.

Compliance Culture & Awareness:

  • Ensure the Maison Compliance directives to be fully known and applied by all related stakeholders, from the Manufacture to the POS and all support teams.
  • Ensure the access to the Maison Product Compliance knowledge is always ready and up-to-date for all related stakeholders.
  • Aggregate regulatory intelligence reports from various sources and ensure a permanent communication loop between the product development teams and the markets.
  • Define and on-board Cartier local product compliance contacts at each market
  • Animate the Cartier product compliance community by organizing activities through workshops, webinars, trainings, etc. to strengthens the best practices and information exchange around Compliance topics.

Compliance Solutions:

  • Defining and implementing the right tools and solutions to support the Maison product compliance with a strategic vision.
  • Defining and implementing the required Compliance processes and milestones to strengthen the Compliance Maison adherence to the group directives.
  • Lead the required projects at Cartier to enhance, optimize and accelerate the product compliance processes through the Supply Chain in an accelerated time to market environment.

JOB PROFILE

Education:

  • Engineering degree or equivalent
  • Legal/Compliance or Trade certification is a plus

Required experience:

  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in Supply Chain/Manufacturing in the luxury environment or in consulting.
  • Proven experience in transversal project management in an international context and in a highly fast-moving environment
  • Proven experience in manufacturing, product development, quality or in compliance
Technical skills / abilities:
  • Project management to manage in a timely manner all the deliverables along with project reporting using agile/hybrid project management methodology
  • Strong pedagogics skills to act as the Maison Compliance voice at various teams
  • Ability to work in a team as this function is part of the Maison overall transformation
  • Strong knowledge of various information systems (SAP, PLM, SharePoint, Excel…)
  • Fluent in French/English
  • Ability to travel 30% of the time
