The Role
Within our Animal Nutrition division, you will be responsible for the Demand & Supply Planning for the EMEA markets. Your primary focus will be to lead and improve the S&OP process for the EMEA region and for all our product ranges including Aquafeed, Pet Food, Livestock, Additives and Premix. You will have a team of 8 Demand and Supply Planning Managers and Procurement Managers. You will work in close collaboration with other members of the supply chain, sales, marketing and finance departments.
Your Responsibilities
Reporting to the EMEA Supply Chain Director, in Rolle, Switzerland; the incumbent will be responsible for:
Sales & Operations Process Management
  • Lead, implement and improve the S&OP process for Animal Nutrition business unit in the EMEA Markets
  • Lead Demand and Supply Planning meetings; together with sales, operations and finance teams, make recommendations (scenario planning) to meet all business objectives.
  • Conduct regular business and performance reviews with Finance, Operations and Sales departments ; identify potential risks (service, cost) and recommend mitigating actions.
  • Maintain visibility of our manufacturing constraints and drive effective supply planning activities. Balance capacity between all factories and co-manufacturers in the region.
  • Support the business to launch New Products and take also initiatives to rationalize and optimize our product portfolio.
  • Partner with business developers, co-manufacturing team and quality department to secure accurate data & parameters (bill of materials, safety stock,…) in our ERP and APS systems
Inventory Management
  • Implement and maintain inventory and material management strategies for all products and optimize inventory level
  • Identify and manage potential inventory obsolescence to minimize write-offs
Customer Service & Communication
  • Analyze sales order books to address proactively any customer service risk, in close collaboration with Sales, Customer Service and logistics teams.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for supply chain issues and recommend corrective action plans.

Supplier relationship and Continuous Improvement
  • Take part of the Quarterly Performance review with our key co-manufacturing partners and raw materials, packaging suppliers.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop best practices and participate to all continuous improvement initiatives to improve service, secure supply and/or reduce costs.
Your Profile
  • Minimum 10 years as Demand and Supply Planning Manager or Supply Chain Manager.
  • University degree in Business management, Engineering or Supply Chain.
  • IT savvy and very comfortable with numbers, know how to analyze complex data and provide meaningful information. Python knowledge will be a plus.
  • Strong experience with ERP system (SAP, M3…) and Advanced Planning System (DynaSys..)
  • Teamwork, effective collaboration with peers.
  • A self-starter, able to make an impact and thrive with the independence offered to her/him.
  • Problem solver, resilient and flexible.
  • Entrepreneurial & Focus to “get the job done”.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Good level in English (Dutch, Spanish and French are optional).
