Sustainability Reporting CoordinatorCorporate DepartmentBaar, SwitzerlandWe are looking for an experienced person to support our HSEC & Human Rights team with internal and external reporting needs. If you have a passion for sustainability and analytical reporting combined with a well-structured way of working, this is the ideal role for you. Experience with sustainability-related reporting requirements and the associated data analysis and assurance is one of the core responsibilities of the position.The main tasks and responsibilities include:
  • Maintaining and managing the Glencore Corporate Sustainable Development Database (“GCP Database”, Enablon software)
  • Active involvement in the Annual Performance Indicator Review of the GCP Database and providing assistance in implementation of new indicators / required changes to the database
  • Coordinating the monthly and quarterly reporting processes for the Glencore management and business (checking reporting completion by the business, analysing data, developing reports, and engaging with internal stakeholders)
  • Coordinating the production of the HSEC Committee Report for the Board (checking reporting completion by the business, analysing data, developing reports, and engaging with internal stakeholders)
  • Coordinating (collating, analysing, correcting by managing internal stakeholders) HSEC/ESG data and engaging with internal stakeholders for input into the Glencore Annual Report and the Glencore Sustainability Report
  • Support the monitoring of upcoming sustainability-related reporting requirements
Qualifications and requirements:
  • Academic educational background, study completed preferably in the field of sustainability (environmental, social), economics, engineering or similar analytical background
  • Four to five years working in the area of sustainability reporting and assurance
  • Minimum of two years operational/regional experience including development of system documentation including procedures
  • Proficient in international sustainability reporting standards and guidance (GRI, SASB, ISSB, ICMM, etc.) and their practical application
  • Efficient and well-organized working skills, as well as a strong ability in using basic business IT-applications, particularly Microsoft Excel, are essential
  • Strong attention to detail and deadlines, organizational and communicative skills
  • Fluency in English (corporate language), both spoken and written; professional working proficiency in any other Glencore corporate language (i.e., German, Spanish, French, Russian) is an asset
