The overall mission of the SWM Distribution Director Europe is to support the qualitative development of the watch division of the Richemont Group and its Maisons in the region and to lead the transformation of our distribution toward our NEW RETAIL roadmap.
This role represents the Richemont watch division internally and externally. She/he will directly report to the International SWM Distribution Director & CEO Time Vallee in Geneva.
Main missions:
New Retail
- Support the implementation & the roll out of the Group/Division initiatives
- Develop local initiatives toward local clientele: acquisition, retention
- Lead strategic projects for the division at regional level
Business Developments
- Accelerate the commercial development in the region: Structure 3 years plan,
- Lead the Retailization transformation (KPIs.)
- Identification, assessment and propose new market and distribution opportunities
- Development plan with Major European Dept. Stores.
- Strategic Partners qualitative development
- Lead at division level the “Top 100 cities” Europe project
- Dedicate plan to local client in each country.
- Europe Travel Retail development
Digital
- In coordination with International SWM division and Maisons Implement the SWM digital plan
- Monitor SWM visibility and proposal plan accordingly
- Propose initiatives to support the transformation
Transversal Missions
- Lead SWM coordinators for Europe – 8 coordinators (France, Italy, Iberia, Benelux, Switzerland, UK, Russia, northern Europe)
- Animation of the Regional/Country Brand Manager community (Monthly meeting, priority, SWM Seminar…)
- Continue to improve data report (sales reporting, stock, clients, ad-hoc presentations) with the SWM business analyses manager.
Profile
- Min. 15 years of brand management, commercial and business development experience within Europe
- Extensive experience in working with diverse channels such as but not limited to government, distributors, online business, mall managements and travel retail
- Ability to manage competing stakeholders, conflicting interests, and complex situations
- Ability to formulate strategies and expansion
- Strong business acumen and negotiation skills
- Excellent relationship building and networking skills at senior level
- Ability to collaborate and influence without directing in a multi-stakeholder platform
- Entrepreneurial mindset and self-starting attitude
- Excellent project management and problem-solving skills
- Min. Bachelor’s degree and master’s degree preferable
