Job Description

We are looking for you as our new System / Cloud Engineer (m/f/d). In this role, you will be part of the Cloud Integration team, sharing your expertise and hands-on experience in technological innovation, engineering, administration and operation in the field of cloud & systems engineering.
  • Participate in the planning, implementation, and continuous improvement of infrastructure and application services in a hybrid environment (mainly Azure) for all locations of the Straumann Group
  • Administrate and operate server systems (Windows & Linux), including provisioning and distribution of operating systems, software, and updates
  • Plan and implement new IT services and monitor their performance in a secure, compliant, and efficient manner
  • Act as a project team member and take project ownership for various IT projects, such as new location setups and Cloud integrations
  • Provide tier L2 / L3 support for incidents related to infrastructure and application services (on-premise & cloud)
  • Periodically take over 7x24 stand-by service (4-5 weeks per year)

Qualifications
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in Microsoft services (Active Directory, Domain and Certification Management PKI, CAFS & MS SQL)
  • Profound know-how in a hybrid setup with Azure (Azure Connect IAM , Enterprise Application & PIM, Azure File Server, Universal Print & Azure Landing Zone), AWS expertise is a plus
  • Hands-on technical skills regarding automation of deployment, integration, and configuration with Powershell are key, IaC Terraform is a plus
  • Experience with Kubernetes Containers and F5 BIG-IP knowledge are being considered as potential differentiators
  • Good understanding of design and implementation of cloud connectivity integration in a hybrid environment
  • Proficiency with Agile/Scrum and experience in project management, ITIL Foundation certificate will be beneficial
  • Excellent communication skills with fluency in English (oral and written), German language skills is a plus
  • Used to work in diverse, international environments and collaborate across matrix organizations

Additional Information

This position reports to the Head of Head of Cloud Integration & Digital Identity and is based at the Corporate Headquarters in Basel, Switzerland.
