About the role
Our Finance Team is looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Tax Manager (60%-100%) to start as per arrangement.
Your responsibilities
  • Being an integral member of the finance team and managing end-to-end process for tax reporting.
  • Lead and coordinate annual tax filings under Swiss and US tax legislations together with central tax team in UK as well as external tax advisors.
  • Participating in quarterly income and deferred tax calculations as part of IFRS reporting process.
  • Perform quarterly Stamp duty and annual VAT & Swiss Capital tax reporting.
  • Manage overall annual tax reporting calendar.
  • Assist with the preparation of tax rulings and coordinate with tax authorities, central tax team and tax advisors, where required.
  • Other ad hoc tasks as required to support the finance function and wider tax team.
Your profile
  • Commercial/accounting education or any comparable business studies.
  • At least 3 years’ experience in tax accounting/reporting, preferably with Big 4 audit firms.
  • Tax expert qualification or on-going qualification process.
  • Strong working knowledge of Tax reporting and basic understanding of IFRS, US-GAAP, Swiss Code of Obligations.
  • Good knowledge of MS-Office and Oracle Ledger systems. Additional IT knowledge would be an asset.
  • Good communication skills, hands-on working style; team spirit, proactivity and flexibility.
  • Ability to work in an international environment, independently and under pressure.
