Are you ready to jump onboard? We are looking for a Technical Project Manager with a main responsibility in leading technology development projects within the Future Research & Development Projects team. The preferred location for this position is in Frauenfeld, Switzerland but also Trieste, Italy is negotiable. In this position, remote working is an option too. Your Role And Responsibilities As a Technical Project Manager your work will include overseeing technology development projects throughout entire execution to ensure success as defined by adherence to standards of scope, budget, and timeline. The projects can also be adjusted based on your individual skills and interests. You’ll be working as a part of a team with diverse expertise.  Requirements for the position:
  • Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field
  • A strong technical background with a minimum of 3 years working experience in the shipping, automotive or energy industry
  • Demonstrated understanding of Project Management processes, strategies and methods
  • English mandatory, Italian preferred, German is a plus
As an ideal candidate you might also have:
  • A Project Management certification from an accredited institution or company
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills and experience establishing guidelines in these areas for others
  • Strong sense of personal accountability regarding decision-making and supervising department teams
  • Experience working in a high-level collaborative environment and promoting a teamwork mentality
  • Ability to predict challenges and seek to proactively head-off obstacles
  • Knowledge and understanding of 2-Stroke marine engines
  • Availability to travel from time to time
